David has built a stellar reputation as an articulate and deliberate Court room advocate in the last 2 decades covering maritime law, commercial law, criminal law, matrimonial law, election petitions, public interest law, Employment law, Intellectual Property, Insolvency, Power and Energy Law, Property Law and Capital Market Law. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (Nigeria Branch) and has had extensive experience in international commercial arbitration and several Alternative Dispute Arbitration sessions.

He is an active member of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association and has served on her Continuing Legal Education Committee and the Judiciary Relations Committee at various times. Asides his pedigree of being sired by a senior respected Jurist, he trained for several years under 4 renowned Senior Advocates of Nigeria in full time legal practice where he cut his legal teeth.
